A New Look for Parnell Gallery
Old Kauri floorboards, hidden for 50 years and now polished, a new open staircase, a redesign of the old counter and overall, a very pleasing result. Parnell Gallery's street-level renovation is in keeping with the upstairs space and now enables the gallery to hold ‘Opening Nights’ at entrance level.

Sally Souness who opened the gallery 31 years ago says, “This is the third time I have moved the stairs and I hope the last! It is always important to keep the gallery looking sharp and minimal and we now have an improved show case for our art and sculpture.”
The Gallery has an exciting programme for the remainder of the year.
Dalene Meiring’s exhibition, which opens on Tuesday 23 July, is the first show to
celebrate this new space. The theme of Dalene’s new series is “women in the landscape” (‘Womenkind’) and all works are oil on canvas.
